The Undergraduate Study Program of the Department of Primary Education of the Universuty of the Aegean aims to provide the essential foundations and methodological tools for the modern primary education teacher. It covers the full range of educational sciences, from pedagogical theory and learning theories to the sociology and psychology of education, while also incorporating the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. Special emphasis is placed on “didactic transposition,” meaning the transformation of scientific knowledge into school subjects such as language, mathematics, science, and history.
