The School of Medicine is one of the four departments of the School of Health Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. It was founded in 1942 as the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Government Gazette No. 28/18-02-1942, Issue A). The mission of the School of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, AUTH, is to educate its students and to cultivate highly qualified medical scientists for the country. It also aims to produce significant research work, both independently and in collaboration with other research centers in Greece and abroad.
