Description

The holder of the Postgraduate Diploma "Computer and Network Technologies" shall be capable of the following:
- Analyse the requirements, evaluate and select the technological solutions with regard to the needs of an organization for computer and network equipment.
- Make use with the best possible method development tools for software and technologies for hardware and networks.
- Analyse and design composite networks and program wireless devices.
- Make use of computer grid and computer cloud technologies for the design of applications and the provision of services based on the dynamic requirements of users.
- Make use of environments of parallel and distributed processing with the purpose of developing demanding applications in terms of calculation and/or large scale applications.
- Design and develop systems for mobile and pervasive computing.
- Design and implement innovative internet applications and services that make use of advanced internet technologies.
- Understand the interaction between network technologies from the physical level to the application level, for the most effective use thereof in the application product.
