Description
Upon completing the courses of the curriculum, the students:
- Have a wide range of scientific knowledge and approaches to understand human behaviour and social problems in the contemporary Greek and European environment.
- Can apply the professional practice of general /inter-method Social Work (models and skills for resolving social functioning problems at individual, family, group, organization and community level). Particular emphasis is given to the needs of vulnerable social groups.
- Know and understand the principles, values and history of the profession of the social worker.
- Acquire a critical ability for the modern European framework for social policy and the role of social work.
- Have knowledge and skills for researching and evaluating professional practice and develop their critical ability to use research findings.
