Description

Studies in Surveying Engineering & Geomatics fully cover the specialist fields related to science and the modern technologies of Geodesy and Surveying, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Cartography and Geographic Information Science. The curriculum supports on one hand all types of topographic surveys and / or design applications related to development projects and / or the construction of technical projects, and, on the other hand, the methods and technology related to the collection - treatment - representation - management - interpretation of quantitative and qualitative information on the natural and human environment.
To this end, students are trained and specialized in modern and constantly evolving, methods based on modern information digital collection, processing and data management, satellite technology and information technology / geoinformatics. In this context, the relevant curriculum cultivates critical thinking and familiarizes students with modern scientific and professional trends in their industry. Its aim is to ensure the transmission and consolidation of reliable and up-to-date scientific knowledge in technology and science of modern Topography - Geomatics with theoretical and practical teaching. Through their program and their education, graduate Surveyor Engineers & Geomatics Engineers acquire theoretical knowledge on positive sciences, specific familiarity with the measuring and analysis of geographic space, specialized topographic knowledge and capacity for production and managing land information which further enable them to successfully continue their studies at a higher postgraduate level.
