Description
The Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration is offered by the Department of Business Administration of the University of West Attica. The programme provides comprehensive education in business administration, covering management, economics, accounting, finance, marketing, human resource management, information systems and entrepreneurship. Students develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills for managerial decision-making and organizational management.
Relation to Employment
Graduates can find employment in businesses, public and private sector organizations, financial institutions, consulting firms, marketing companies, and human resources departments, as well as start their own businesses.
Access Requirements / Progression Opportunities
A high school diploma and successful completion of the Panhellenic or placement exams are required. The degree is awarded upon successful completion of eight semesters and 240 ECTS credits.
Knowledge
The program provides students with comprehensive knowledge in business administration and organizational management, covering the core disciplines of management, marketing, accounting, finance, economics, administrative science, law, management information systems, and decision science. Graduates acquire a modern scientific background in business functions, strategic management, organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, innovation, human resource management, operations management, and the use of information technologies to support management and business development. In addition, students gain specialized knowledge through one of the four official study streams: Business Management, Marketing, Information Systems and Decision Making, or Health and Welfare Management.
Skills
Graduates develop skills in analyzing and solving business problems, designing and organizing business operations, evaluating business data, and making evidence-based managerial decisions. They are able to apply quantitative methods, management information systems, and modern digital technologies to support organizational management, develop marketing and business strategies, manage financial and operational activities, and coordinate projects, human resources, and organizational processes. They also acquire strong communication, teamwork, research, critical thinking, innovation management, and adaptability skills required in a continuously evolving business environment.

Graduates are competent to manage and support private and public sector organizations, design and implement business development strategies, evaluate managerial effectiveness, and contribute to organizational and digital transformation initiatives.
