Description

The Bachelor’s Degree in Social and Educational Policy is offered by the Department of Social and Educational Policy of the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of the Peloponnese. It is an interdisciplinary study program focusing on the analysis, design, and implementation of policies in education, social protection, social inclusion, employment, and lifelong learning. Students acquire knowledge in sociology, political science, economics of education, social policy, educational administration, and public policy evaluation. The program contributes to the development of graduates with academic training and professional competence in the fields of social and educational policy.

Relation to Employment

The program aims to develop knowledge and skills enabling graduates to work in social policy organizations, education and training institutions, public services, local government organizations, research centers, international organizations, and social welfare structures.

Access Requirements / Progression Opportunities

Admission requires a secondary school leaving certificate and successful participation in national entrance examinations or qualifying examinations.

The program provides knowledge in social sciences, educational policy, social policy, economics of education, educational administration, comparative education, European policy, and lifelong learning. Students acquire comprehensive academic training in the analysis and evaluation of social and educational policies.
