Description
The Bachelor’s Degree in History, Archaeology and Cultural Heritage Management is offered by the Department of History, Archaeology and Cultural Heritage Management of the School of Humanities and Cultural Studies at the University of the Peloponnese. The study program combines the fields of history, archaeology, and cultural heritage management. Students acquire knowledge related to historical research, archaeological science, museology, protection and promotion of cultural heritage, and management of cultural organizations. The program contributes to the development of graduates with academic training and professional competence in the field of cultural heritage.

Access Requirements / Progression Opportunities
Admission requires a secondary school leaving certificate and successful participation in national entrance examinations or qualifying examinations.
Knowledge
The program provides knowledge in ancient, Byzantine, modern and contemporary history, prehistoric, classical and Byzantine archaeology, museology, cultural heritage management, and cultural heritage protection. Students acquire comprehensive academic training in the fields of history and archaeology.
Skills
Students develop skills in historical and archaeological research, cultural heritage documentation, collection management, exhibition organization, cultural planning, and the use of digital tools for the promotion and protection of cultural heritage.
