Description

The Bachelor's Degree in Biology is a first-cycle higher education qualification and is classified at Level 6 of the Hellenic Qualifications Framework. Graduates possess a comprehensive and coherent background in Biology, including the fundamental principles, theories, and methodologies of the field, as well as the laboratory and analytical approach to biological phenomena. The degree also constitutes a necessary qualification for practicing the profession of biologist.

Graduates of the Department of Biology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki fall under the branch P.E.04.04 Biologists. Pedagogical and teaching competence is acquired in accordance with the applicable legal framework and the relevant procedures of the Department.
