Description

Purpose of the program is the Innovation in Technology and Entrepreneurship and covers various aspects of the object, from the conception of new business ideas to their implementation with the use of modern technology.
This Postgraduate Program aims to educate and provide skills to graduates who aspire to become high-level business executives or future entrepreneurs, both in the field of technology and in the field of management.
Courses are taught in the first two semesters, while in the third postgraduate students focus on the writing of master's thesis. Postgraduate students are taught courses on the subject of Business Administration in the first semester of studies and specialized courses in peak Technology fields in the second semester, both at a theoretical and a practical level.
The subject area of the courses covers both general and highly sophisticated topics, such as nanotechnology, biomedical technology, artificial intelligence, etc. During their studies, postgraduate students use laboratories with the latest equipment such as TEM, SEM/EDX, SAXS/WAXS, GRID-CERN etc. Hence, graduates understand the knowledge acquired and can apply them to start their own businesses or seek careers in various sectors of industry, such as administration, construction, research, business consultancy, or even pursue an academic career.
Also, graduates can work professionally in CERN, given the establishment of the supercomputer system GRID-TIER2-CERN in the department of Electrical Engineering.
