Description
Following completion of studies, the learners shall be capable of coping with the new technological developments with regard to the profession of the Civil Engineer of Technological Education and mainly technological research, which shall develop knowhow over the respective professional fields, and also adjust to the demands of the employment market and successfully cover the needs for the creation of a structured environment. They shall combine the development of a suitable theoretical background of studies with high level laboratory and practical exercise. The theoretical background shall refer to the methodologies of technology and management, in combination with the development of competences for the production and management of technical works for the existing natural and residential environment.
Relation to Employment
The degree of Civil Engineer of Technological Education stands as a practice license. The graduates shall work either on their own or in collaboration with scientists of other technical specialties, as managers or executives in relevant businesses, organisations, and services in the private and public sector, with the design, study, and application of the technology in any field of projects and works of this subject.
