Description

Upon completing their undergraduate studies, the graduates of the Department of Fisheries and Aquacultures acquire the necessary technological and scientific knowledge, skills, and competences in the fields of fisheries and aquacultures, and become aware of the relation thereof with the environment, with the purpose of being able to work in any of the fields of the Department's cognitive subject, either on their own or as executives in businesses.

Relation to Employment

The graduate of the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture Technology is capable of conducting the following activities:
- Head of production for aquacultures.
- Marketing of fisheries products and equipment.
- Preparation of feasibility studies and supervision of designs over relevant constructions.
- Becoming a member of relevant organisations.
- Becoming a professor in Secondary Education.
The above constitute vocational rights of the graduate Technologist Ichthyologist as per Presidential Decree 109/89 no.5 (Government Gazette 47 Α/89).
