Description
The graduates of the PhD in Education Sciences shall be able to: 1. Specify, interpret, and apply qualitative methods of analysis in educational research, while critically discussing and analysing modern / current issues concerning the qualitative and quantitative approaches to educational research. 2. Specify, interpret and apply statistical methods for analysis, along with modern methods for statistical analysis used in educational research. 3. Interpret and evaluate published research work from the field of education and from the field of their subjects of concern. 4. Identify, explain, and analyse the concepts and methods of modern research in education. 5. Plan research proposals through the application of various parameters for the research methodology in education and in the cognitive fields managed. 6. Evaluate and examine research proposals in every level. 7. Organise and conduct personal and independent research. 8. Produce and write dissertations at the highest level within the context of their cognitive subject. 9. Defend their doctoral dissertation with sufficiency and academic accuracy and quality. 10. Engage with teaching, publications and other research activities, at higher educational institute level. 11. Evaluate educational work and provide feedback through the already published literature.
