The graduates critically understand and negotiate basic concepts and theoretical approaches in the fields of Organisation and Management of Education and of the Educational Leadership.
Knowledge:
Identify, analyse, and follow modern trends and perceptions regarding the science of managing educational systems and school units (knowledge and skills).
The graduates may innovate in the exercise of the educational management and of the educational leadership, expanding their knowledge and their experience on the basis of theoretical assumptions and research data (knowledge and skills), while being capable of producing scientific knowledge and conducting research (knowledge - skill - competence). They are capable of designing the educational policy and exercising administration at a system and educational organization level (skill and competence). They work independently and effectively within research teams and within the educational frameworks of formal and informal learning (competence). The graduates are capable of designing, implementing, documenting, and presenting with clarity and precision proper scientific research. Moreover, they are capable of using previous knowledge and applying them on new subjects, successfully cope with professional positions related to school. In addition, they are capable of successfully fulfilling the obligations of superior administrative positions in education, ranging from the development of teaching programmes and the design of the educational policy, to undertaking consulting and managerial duties in education. The graduates have the necessary learning skills that allow them to continue their studies in a way that is largely autonomous or independent.
