Description

The holders of the master's degree acquires specialized knowledge on Social and Historical Anthropology with special emphasis on the ethnographic and historical approach of the Greek and wider Balkan and Mediterranean region. They systematically have access to and delve into the respective anthropologic and historic literature, acquire skills for research in the social anthropology and history by learning techniques for field research, archival research, oral interviews, and written texts. The research work leading to the acquisition of a postgraduate diploma contributes to Modern Greek anthropologic and historic literature.
