Knowledge: Basic knowledge of economics, management and finance, understanding and use of quantitative and calculative methods for the resolution of problems of the respective fields.

Skills: Modelling and resolution of composite problems regarding management, economics and finance, using quantitative and calculative methods for the administration, the application of project management principles, the management of operations and production, the management of the supply chain, financial engineering and strategic management.

Competences: Identification of problems, solution using quantitative and calculative methods, financial evaluation of alternative solutions, and definition of strategy. Effective treatment of new, interdisciplinary issues. Contribution to the development of knowledge and practices in order to deal with the above issues.

Learning outcomes: Wide-ranging training of the executives (engineers) with a strong analytical background on subjects of administration engineering and financial engineering. Familiarisation with methodological tools for the management and use of the available technology and knowhow in the field of finance, operations management, decision taking, and investments. Cultivation of analytical and synthesizing skills for the strategy, organisation, and operation of businesses, decision taking, and the management of financial products.
