Knowledge:
The graduates have knowledge regarding the sciences concerning preschool training for educational planning.
In particular:
- They have a cohesive and integrated body of theoretical an applied knowledge relevant to the sciences of education and educational planning.
- They have analytical, advanced knowledge and a critical perception in the fields of pedagogics, social, financial, and positive sciences, of psychology, sociology, literature and culture, which related to preschool education and educational planning.
- They understand the concepts, the methods, and the practices concerning preschool education and educational design, and have the necessary assets to exercise the profession of the preschool educator and of the educational planning executive.
Skills
- They analyse and adjust their acquired knowledge in order to apply them to the sciences of education and educational planning, and are able of acquiring new knowledge regarding these fields.
- They develop complete, creative, and innovative solutions and approaches for preschool education.
- Based on their scientific knowledge, they formulate, in relation with preschool education and educational design, valid judgements which take into consideration the various relevant social, financial, cultural, and ethical aspects.
- Communicate with teams engaged with preschool education and planning in education and learning, offering means, information, and suggestions for the resolution of relevant problems.
Competences
- They design and implement personal and collective research work under supervision within the context of the fields of pedagogics, sociology, psychology, literature, and culture, as well as of positive sciences and technologies.
- They have the competence of transmitting the knowledge and competence they have acquired within the context of their studies to kindergartens and daycares of the public and private sector, as well as in structures related to educational planning.
- They are capable of undertaking within institutionally-specific context the responsibility of developing the knowledge, the skills and the competences of individuals and groups operating within the context of preschool education and educational planning.
