Description
The subject of the Postgraduate Studies Programme is the scientific training and specialisation of scientists on:
a) Logistics Management
b) Energy and Environmental Management
c) Project Management & Product Development.
The programme's objectives are the following:
a) Promotion of scientific knowledge and research:
- on Logistics, with the purpose of improving the various management operations of the supply chain, the management of the transport operation, the storage and control of raw materials, management of production, scheduling and forecasting, product distribution, customer service, by-product management;
- on Energy and Environmental Management, contributing to the methodical and analytical formulation of energy and environmental problems, as well as to the effective management thereof;
- on Project Management, which deals with the methodology, the tools and the techniques for scheduling, executing, and following a project, and on Product Development, which involves the use of modern principles, methods, practices, and advanced tools, for the creation and introduction of new, innovative, products to the market;
b) the creation of specialised scientists who are capable of responsibly manning Agencies of the private and public sector, with the purpose of drafting studies or providing consultation and other services on the themes covered by the Postgraduate Studies Programme.
