Knowledge: The learner is taught the principles, methods, techniques and systems comprising the background of the various agronomy cognitive subjects and delves into the development, promotion, and application of the fields of knowledge, knowhow and skills related to biotechnological processes, including the design and application of biosystems.
Skills: Copes with the requirements of modern biotechnology.
Competences: Designs, implement and manages biosystems.
Relation to Employment
The title of studies is necessary to work as an Agronomist. The agronomists are registered in the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece (GEOTEE) and exercise their professional rights within the context of their specialisation cycle, as per the provisions of Presidential Decree 344/2000 "Exercise of the agronomist profession", article 8, 9 and the specific legal and regulatory clauses that are in effect.
