Description
According to the establishing Government Gazette (Presidential Decree 561/1985, Government Gazette 199/27-11-1985, bulletin Α), the curriculum of the Department of Automation Engineering of Technological Education covers the following cognitive fields:
A) Analysis of systems of automated control, including the study of system stability and the laboratory study of engineers, hydraulics, electronics, and electricians, of digital and analogue control devices.
B) Composition of automated control systems, i.e. manufacture of regulators and study of the controller manufacturing methods, as well as experience in key industrial automated control systems.
C) Programming of systems of automated control, which includes the use of microcomputers, as well as of analogue - digital systems, the formulation of programmes of elementary and excellent control, and generally supervision for the new directions developed in automated control and its wide range of applications.
