Knowledge: The learner will have advanced knowledge about the cognitive subject of Informatics, which includes the critical understanding of the relevant theories and principles. Specifically, they will have acquired all theoretical assets, from the basic mathematical concepts to the methods for resolving practical problems, while also being properly trained on the direct application thereof through the laboratories. Skills: They will have advanced skills or the ability of proving the necessary mastery and innovation for the resolution of composite and random problems in the field of Informatics. Competences: They shall be able to manage composite technical or professional activities or work plans, undertaking the responsibility for taking decisions in unforeseen work or study environments. They shall be able to undertake the responsibility for the management of the professional development of persons and teams.

The graduate of the Department of Computer Engineering, of Technological Education, is employed as: 1. Software Engineer, both in IT support services for the private or public sector, and in commercial businesses producing and providing software of various types and applications. 2. Computer Systems Engineer, 3. Network and Telecommunications Engineer / Administrator), 4. Database Administrator.
