The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is the largest Greek university. It comprises a total of 11 schools, consisting of 40 departments and 1 single-department school. There are 65 Clinics (Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine), 314 institutionalized Laboratories and 23 Study Centers. The Central Library of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, one of the largest in the Balkans, together with the 47 regional libraries of the Departments and Schools, constitute the library system of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. At the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, there are 41 undergraduate programs, 1 introductory direction (Muslim Studies) and 1 foreign language Undergraduate Program of the Department of Medicine of the School of Health Sciences and 200 postgraduate programs in individual departments, as well as interdepartmental, interuniversity and international. In addition, significant collaborations have been established with foreign institutions for the preparation of doctoral theses with co-supervision of Greek and foreign doctoral candidates.
